EQP-30

Manual Hydraulic Operation
30-Tonne Max. Pressure
XRF & FTIR Compatible
Two Polycarbonate Safety Guards
8–40 mm Interchangeable Dies

The EQP-30 produces stable pellets for XRF and FTIR KBr analysis at up to 30 tonnes of hydraulic pressure — with no electrical connection required. Its compact benchtop design and two polycarbonate safety guards make it suitable for space-constrained laboratories. An analogue pressure gauge keeps pressure directly visible to the operator.

Equilab EQP-30 — Manual Control and Safety Design

Simple Build, Reliable Operation

The EQP-30 is a robust solution for laboratories that do not need digital controls or electrical infrastructure. The analogue gauge provides real-time pressure visibility; two polycarbonate guards protect the operator throughout the pressing cycle.

🔧
Manual Hydraulic Operation
Generates up to 30 tonnes of pressure without an electrical connection. The hydraulic lever keeps pressure fully in the operator's hands. Works reliably in locations with limited or unreliable power supply.
🛡
Two Polycarbonate Safety Guards
Two polycarbonate guards shield the operator from particle scatter during pressing. An automatic pressure relief valve engages if the maximum pressure is exceeded, protecting both the instrument and the sample.
📊
Analogue Gauge — Direct Pressure Feedback
An analogue manometer calibrated to 35 T displays the applied pressure in real time. No screen or software is needed to set or read the pressure; operation stays straightforward and error-free.

What You Wonder About

Yes. The EQP-30 runs entirely on a manual hydraulic system — no electrical supply or external motor is required. It works reliably in locations with limited or unreliable power infrastructure.

Yes. The EQP-30's wide die compatibility allows small-diameter toolsets (e.g. 13 mm) to be used, making it suitable for pressing transparent, high-transmittance KBr pellets for FTIR spectrometers.

The EQP-30 includes an automatic pressure relief valve. If the maximum capacity is exceeded or the valve is released, the system vents safely — preventing damage to both the instrument and the sample.

The instrument measures 410 × 315 × 200 mm and weighs 56 kg. Since no electrical infrastructure is required, it can be placed on any laboratory bench and put into use immediately.
